With “Guido” on the line-up I doubt that there were nay real “foodies” there. As pop culture star, he is great, but as a chef, most people would agree, if they know anything about food, he is no John Ash ir Doug Keane. Those people got what they deserved.

While I love the idea of the festival, I would rather see the same folks — those putting it on, signing up, showing up, etc. take that same energy and put it into teaching people how to garden and cook at home. Rice and beans (or lentils) one day a week could change the world for everyone. Just a thought.
So glad that I never considered entering that fray. Crowded festivals with hungry people are not my thing.
