From Donna Olson: Always the fastest to disappear from the assorted cookie platter. Very Easy to make too.

1/3 cup sugar

Add to butter/sugar mixture:
1 egg yolk
1T. Cognac (or brandy)
1 teasp. vanilla

Blend in:
2 cups flour
