The 12-page application greets you with a charming peck on the cheek (“Tell us about the moment you fell in love with food”, “What is your favorite dish?”) then leans in for an awkward tongue kiss (“Describe your most embarrassing moment”, “What types of people intimidate you?”), and finally starts groping at your deepest secrets (“Have you had plastic surgery?” “Have you ever hit someone in anger or self-defense?” “Have you ever had a restraining order placed against you?”). If everyone was as sincere and passionate about what they do, as Gordon is about cooking, everything would be of total perfection! This man is a no BS person and is sincere about what he does.

Did you see his picks for the Coco: 10 World-Leading Masters Choose 100 Contemporary Chefs? I had long sort of passed off Ramsay as a Roco DiSpirito type, but apparently not.
Gordon Ramsay is the best! Kitchen Nightmares is a blast to watch, not to mention a good primer for anyone who thinks running a restaurant will be easy. He knows his stuff, isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and does not tolerate BS. He is second only in “Star Chef” prestige to Alton Brown.
When I was in London one of his restaurants there was TEEMING with tons of people inside and outside as well.
Ramsey and other chefs try to educate the audinece and society of the blessings of paring great cuisine with great wine yet his foul and poisonus language from a poor upbringing and education simlpy spoils the food and experience.
