Rumors have been flying for weeks in Healdsburg about the fate of Manzanita Restaurant.
The restaurant has been dark for several weeks, and its future seems uncertain. Multiple sources around town tell BiteClub that the restaurant has officially shuttered, informing the staff of the closure three weeks ago and being taken off delivery routes.
However, there’s still nothing official from the owners or chef as to the ultimate fate of the space despite attempts to reach the exec chef Matthew Alain Paillé and the restaurant. Recent calls to the listed number result in an answering machine stating that the restaurant is not taking reservations.
Although the book has not officially been closed on this popular Healdsburg eatery, many who’ve heard the rumors are expressing disappointment and several names have been bandied about as potential saviors. I mean, should they be needed.
