Re: Casa Del Mar
I ate at casa del mar about 1 week ago for a birthday party of 12 people. You can tell its a brand new place their still trying to work out their kinks which is ok cause obviously things take time. But I thought the restaurant was suppose to be specializing in seafood? It just dint seem to have much to offer in that department. also when you order fajitas anywhere in any mexican restaurant the come out sizzling on a hot platter this place dint have that. My favorite place is El Cornel in sebastopol. Its great food, fast and nice prices. oh and you get huge margaritas for like $ 7 bucks

Re: Casa Del Mar
I agree with you, Rhonda...I only had a house margarita,(it was $6.95...expensive, compared to most other places in town where the margaritas are twice the size), and sat and observed. They're still disorganized and had only 1 bartender for that very long bar. I looked at the menu and thought the food a little over priced but I'll reserve final judgement until I actually eat there,(and I will). It looks like they put alot into it and I wish them all the best...

Re: Casa Del Mar
I was there Sunday afternoon. I will wait until they work out the kinks before returning. Over priced for Mexican food. Beautifully decorated. Food server must have been new to food service. We were asked 7 times if everything was alright, twice before our food arrived & I waited at least 10 minutes for my food after my boyfriend was served. Parking lot too narrow. Good Luck though!

Re: Casa Del Mar
I went to Casa Del Mar today. I was told that they opened on Monday. They did a great job on the decoration and the layout of the place. The food was great too. The service couldn't have been better. THey also have a full bar. We had their Mar Garita house drink that was excellent!
I definitely recomend this restaurant.

Saw some cars there on Friday. When will you go and review? Want to hear what you have to say before I go there.

Casa del Mar is one of the best Mexican restaurants in St.Rosa (my opinion) Exellent food N service. Plenty of tables in a variety of sizes for parties big N large. The beauty, service n Excellent food was beyond my expectations.
