I’ve been here twice since ownership changed over. The milk shakes are GREAT and so is the grilled chicken sandwich. My daughter, however, misses the kids toys they used to have outside.

I like NYPie. Mambo’s is ok,and cheep for a slice of cheese but hardly any cheese. Heather, do you know if NYPie serves slices?

If pizza is on your menu for the evening try out Home Run Pizza in Larkfield Shopping Center…tucked away in the corner. The pizza is great and it’s a local establishment with respect for the community it serves.

When a chicken costs that much you don’t waste it, that’s for sure.
I end up scraping off every shred of meat I can, then making the most wonderful stock (or poaching the whole chicken and using the shredded meat and stock).

I only wish I had a better use for the spent bones.

I go back and forth between Mombo’s and NYPie for NY Style Pizza. I can’t decide which I like better.

I have to agree my friend John, I have had both better and worse pizza in many places. The atmosphere is decent as was the service (you do have to be assertive, but they seemed responsive). If you are close by and need some food for a decent price, then go. If you are downstairs and need food, get something. Not bad, but nothing stands out.
I like Mombo’s significantly more (they are only a mile down Mendo too) and Rosso’s is probably the best Pizza in Santa Rosa consistently and they have excellent salads as well. Pizza is much like burgers, everyone loves them and has their thoughts about them. I judge/enjoy all foods equally and my standards are high because you can get decent and easily prepared food in many places, but really good food, well that is far rarer than even how I prefer my beef!

Love the cinnamons at Savory Spice!! All their spices for that matter.
