Beware, Quincy’s doesn’t allow anyone under 21 ANYTIME. Unlike most bar/pubs that serve food and allow the kids in during the day, Quincy’s will promptly catch you at the door and it’s back to the parking lot for you. They were nice enough to take our order outside to go, but I saw several families turned away while waiting for our order. Rasta Dwight is losing business in this location and I’m not even sure if he is aware of it.

I’ve only been once, but we thought that the pork belly entree was really excellent — best i’ve had, besides spinster sisters.

also, the daily ceviche trio was super good.

to each their own, i suppose!

I’m so excited that Dierk’s Midown is open! I’ve been there twice for a weekend brunch, and the staff & food are just as great as at Parkside. On a nice, sunny day the patio out back is wonderful, and because it’s so new, there wasn’t even a wait for a table.

yeah.. that was your first mistake.

i’ve found that the restaurants of any chef that regularly appears on television tend to be pretty underwhelming. usually because the chef is spending most of his time on television and not minding his restaurants.

just saying.

i just thought i couldnt go wrong with a world class chef,. ha..
i chose by name and reputation. name and reputation does not gaurantee a good meal. now, i know.
the rice was hard and inedible. not cooked long enough.
in addition there was an ever so slightly next to nothing amidst the rice.

I think we are in the tail end of chefs trying to out-meat eAchother
The huitalocoche taco was a great vegetarian dish as was the strawberries and cream

It was a fairly meaty day however

Iron Chef Morimoto offered veggie sushi.
the rice was hard, there was barely a quarter teaspoon of wasabi. The sushi only had the teeniest tiniest piece of marinated burdock root in it. the whole thing was inedible and dissappointing. I thought anything Morimoto would offer would be good or at least edible. It doesn’t pay to be a vegetarian at bottlerock. That was my ten dollar meal money and I chose poorly.

Great pictures but the food at Left Coast Kitchen is really flavorless. If only they had decent food I would go all the time.

” $200 is not enough money to eat your way through BottleRock?”. Seems to me with ticket prices on the rise and food on the rise we need some all inclusive festivals like The Dead on the Creek Festival in Willits in August where the food, beer and wine are included in the price of admission. These events are more than concerts they are experiences with food and music.

Honestly the food can be over the top fabulous…HOWEVER the way that the current owner conducts his business leaves a bad taste in my mouth…sorry just can’t get over that…maybe after a few years if they are still around I may give them a try…so many other great places in Healdsburg that I don’t feel the need to visit…
